Tom Logan is a Lecturer in Civil Systems Engineering at the University of Canterbury. He was awarded his PhD from the University of Michigan studying Risk Analysis and Urban Planning and has a Masters from the Johns Hopkins University in Geography and Environmental Engineering. He is now the co-leader of the University of Canterbury's research cluster for Community and Urban Resilience.
Mitchell is a graduate from the University of Canterbury in Civil Engineering and Global Humanitarian Engineering. He is currently working towards a PhD in Civil Systems Engineering and Urban Resilience. His research examines climate change and natural hazard related impacts on the urban environment. Specifically, understanding how to plan and adapt cities to natural hazards while exploring the synergies and implementation of the '15-minute city'.
