Tom Logan is a Lecturer in Civil Systems Engineering at the University of Canterbury. He was awarded his PhD from the University of Michigan studying Risk Analysis and Urban Planning and has a Masters from the Johns Hopkins University in Geography and Environmental Engineering. He is now the co-leader of the University of Canterbury's research cluster for Community and Urban Resilience.
Mitchell is a graduate from the University of Canterbury in Civil Engineering and Global Humanitarian Engineering. He has a particular interest in climate change and natural hazards, specifically how to best to quantify and communicate risk to decision-makers such that a community can adapt properly. Mitchell is currently working towards his PhD in Civil Systems Engineering and Urban Resilience.
